George is
a retired businessman from the manufacturing industry and is
a native of the Seattle area. This will be his third year
racing in the Super Sport Class. George has built and raced
motorcycles during his younger years and has built and raced
R.C. Aircraft. He transitioned from R.C. to full scale
aircraft in the early 80s and flew some sportsman aerobatics
and has been a member of the EAA and IAC since then. He is
currently flying and racing the Thunder Mustang "Rapid
Travel" that he and his Dad built over a 5 year
period. Over the last several years he has been developing a
supercharger system for the falconer V-12 that powers it.
This year he and the team members have added a new canopy
and turtle deck to help on the aerodynamics and MT PROPELLER
has supplied a new 4 blade RACE Prop as their support of our
race team. We feel that RAPID TRAVEL Ver. 2.0 will be very
competitive this year!
